Most floor cleaners are mostly water and filler.
A conventional floor cleaner needs about 40 ml to do a bucket. This needs 10, in half a bucket. The difference is not concentration, it is that a live culture keeps working instead of evaporating off. It is also a true no-rinse formula, so you are not spending a second bucket of water undoing the first.

Does a probiotic cleaner actually disinfect?
Yes. It has been NABL lab tested to kill 99.99% of germs in fifteen seconds. The difference is that it does not stop there. A conventional disinfectant is spent once it hits the drain, whereas a live culture carries on breaking down organic matter downstream.

Do I have to wait the fifteen minutes?
Only if you want the culture at full strength. Ten millilitres in half a bucket, left fifteen minutes, is the point at which the bacteria have multiplied and are working hardest - about the time sweeping and dusting takes anyway. Mop straight away and it still cleans; it has simply had less time to work.

Is it safe around pets and small children?
Yes. No parabens, sulphates, SLS, chlorine, formaldehyde, triclosan, phthalates or synthetic fragrance, and no acid. Safe for crawling babies, for pets, and for anyone with asthma or a chemical sensitivity. Keep the bottle itself out of reach, as you would any cleaner.

It smells different from what I’m used to.
It is meant to. What you are used to is synthetic fragrance sitting on top of a harsh chemical. This smells of the citrus peel, rose and jaggery it was fermented with, and it fades as the floor dries rather than hanging in the room all evening.

Why does it need ninety days?
Citrus peel, jaggery and water are fermented at 3:1:10 for ninety days. That is how long the culture takes to finish. Nothing speeds it up, so every batch waits.
